My Creative Space

image from here

I have been inspired in my garden lately by Jane Brocket and her wonderful tulips. I know that I live in “Gods own country” where we can actually wander around in short sleeves and thongs for most of the year, but the downside is that I can’t grow bulbs.

That is I can’t grow the wonderfully luscious bulbs of Jane…but I can grow Alliums, in other words onions! We will see how these go, and hopefully I can show you some onion, err, allium flowers in November.

  1. I think that vegetables have much more spectacular flowers than normal flowers. The pea and the onion are two of my favourites.

  3. Lovely flowers, I hope you can grow some! You left a comment on my blog about pinafores and checking your local Spotlight store, but you didn't leave me an email address so I couldn't contact you! I wanted to let you know that it is only my local store (Bayswater, Vic) that is collecting the pinafores, so if you make one you can send it there or email me for my postal addy and send it to me! Thanks for getting involved :)
