It is really very witty aas she has used stamps to put the words "stick it" and "to me" on both sides.
But here is the really freaky bit. Cat lives just a few streets away from where I grew up and was born! I haven't lived there for nigh on thirty years. When I first got the package, I thought my sister was playing a joke on me. What are the odds eh? I now live half way across the country in Northern NSW, the pincushion swap included people worldwide. I think the gods are talking to me. (I am very superstitous) My mum died last year and my sister and I said that there is now no reason to go back...but ...maybe...there is. If anything, there are always the opshops, which are fabulous.
Anyhoo, here is the picture of Cat's happy little pincushion. It is being used like a voodoo doll and is loving it! "Stick more pins into me !" it squealed last night, so I happily complied. xxNick
I love how youve called it a voodoo doll. Great pin-cushion. I happened to recieve an actual doll to my surprise! Love your blog ladies, :)
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm always up for a cup of tea/coffee/glass of bubbles! The area has changed so much in some ways and not at all in others. :) The universe works in really odd ways Nick! I love the look of your little voodoo doll with all the pins and needles. xo
ReplyDeleteYour pincushion is gorgeous ... I loved the swap so much and I keep seeing so many reasons why others did too. Too much swapping goodness.
