My creative space - Vintage fabric, what else?

What to do, what to do! I have so many creative tongs in the fire at the moment that my head is spinning! My main tong is vintage fabrics. I have been collecting fabric these last few weeks and washing it as I go. My goal is to make beautiful homewares from mainly vinatge fabrics and sell them. Sounds simple eh? I will get there, but it seems to be a long circuituous route at the moment.

I must get rid of my blocks. I must relax. I must cleanse my aura. I think I will have to look at my Daily Motivator more often and really focus. I must clean the house and be creative in a beautiful, calm uncluttered environment. (after I tend the garden, paint and decorate my daughters bedroom, bake a cake, start some artworks and go through that pile of paperwork that won't go away)  I must relax. I must relax and have fun! Breathe, Nick breathe. I will attain inner harmony and composure. I will ooze serenity and create real purpose in my life. People will look at me and be instantly calmed and inspired by my creative soul. My hair will lose all frizziness and cascade in soft natural curls around my totally relaxed and unlined face.

First things first though,  a cuppa, a scotch finger and Kerry-Anne, then I'll get my act together.

Join the others over at Kootoyoo for more creative goodness. xxNick

  11. Great post! Love all the vintage goodness and the sentiment, I think most crafty types can relate to. Especially those with homes and children and a mountain of papers and misbehaving hair. Bring on the tea and bikkies!

  14. It looks so peaceful seeing all those pieces of fabric hanging on the line. Reminds me a little of growing up, when I used to get fried alive by my mother for running between the clean clothes on the line and making them less clean.
